One of the silver linings of the current situation has been seeing people come forward to support small and local businesses and I hope that it is something that lasts long after all of this is over. I have the privilege of having met so many amazing creative and business minded people due to the path I have taken and think they deserve a little spotlight for all they do!
Robyn Inclusive
Robyn is a first year student studying fashion design specialising in fashion to aid people who have a disability. This brand is working towards such an overlooked market and I believe that it is something that EVERYONE should know about. Many of us know people with a disability yet I can bet that fashion and practicality is something that most have not thought about in this way. I am a firm believer that everyone should be able to enjoy fashion and dress well, which is just one of many reasons I can't wait to see what Robyn inclusive does in the future!
As able bodied people we take so much for granted, walking, talking, sitting, standing, speaking, hearing, seeing, getting dressed, putting shoes on, putting coats on, eating, washing and so much more. I want to create a brand which doesn't discriminate, which doesnt restrict any goals you wish to achieve, a clothing brand which doesn't look like is has been designed for a purpose and just looks like any other garment you could get at any high street store but the difference being they are easier to put on, they are softer, they are designed with movement restrictions, equipment and sensory needs in mind. Because this is a market which is getting ignored and it is the market that needs the most support ❤ - Robyn

Not only does Sophie have possibly the most aesthetically pleasing instagram grid known to man but she provides content that I'm sure any budding fashion designer or home sewer would adore! Creating designs in vintage inspired prints Sophie will make anyone want to order a machine to keep busy with in lockdown. Frida is an amazing brand focusing on sustainable fashion. The work done over at frida is truly inspiring and makes you think about sustainability which everyone can always improve on! Focused on the mission to reduce environmental impact fast fashion causes, Frida uses organic cotton which use 98% less water than non-organic cotton production! How amazing is that? So much of what the Frida brand represents should be heard by more. Please go and learn more, so that we can all work together to make an impact.

Helen is a all round creative inspiration of mine! Recently she has been diving into graphic design and creating repeat patterns that I can't help but want in fabric form. Hel has worked with many medias and has not yet finished exploring so I am sure there is more amazing work to come. I am so eager to see what her comes up with next and we have talked about a collaboration for years, so keep your eyes peeled!
