5 ways to wear a 'silk' scarf

Updated: May 12, 2020

One of my favourite charity shop finds was a gorgeous black and floral silk square scarf. ever since I found that first scarf I've always kept my eye out for more unique scarves as they are SO versatile! Here's five ways you can style a silk scarf.

1: Head Scarf

This is definitely one of my favourite ways to wear a scarf. Ideal for hiding messy hair and a cute alternative for a hat in summer. Silk scarves are better than any other I've tried due to the breathability of the fabric, it doesn't look too bulky like other fabrics sometimes can. Sometimes if I feel it is going to slip about throughout the day I will use some grips to hold it into place (colour co-ordinated of course!).

2 :Bow Bandeau

Another way to showcase a stunning scarf is the bow bandeau. This style would look great with a pair of flares for a night-out or jeans for more casual summer wear. Unless you have an amazing strapless bra I would definitely recommend securing with a hidden safety pin, or at least some pasties for the brave!

3: Halter neck

Personally I'm not a huge fan of getting my back out but this use of a scarf is so usable it would be unfair not to share! This style could literally be worn with any bottoms and would look great. The beauty of this simple way is that much more of the pattern is displayed than in other styles.

4: Triangle top

If anyone manages to get that perfect even tan then you MUST try this! I think this shape can be really flattering when paired with skinny bottoms. I picture this as ideal for any 'jeans and a nice top' events.

5: Headband

Last but not least, the classic headband. Perfect way to accessorise an outfit and tie in colour or pattern when it's lacking. Also another way to hide any frizz or not so fresh roots.

Thank you so much for reading guys hope you enjoyed! if anyone tries anything post it on insta and give the @blog_Grace account a tag so I can see! another post coming very soon so stay tuned :)
